A lifelong passion for the arts and social activism informs Julie Ray Creatives’s award-winning visual communication work. Julie Ray Creative has developed identities, websites and promotional materials for businesses, non-profit organizations, and independent practitioners across the country. Recent projects include new branding for the Oracle School District; public relations and social media management for Arizona Repertory Singers; and banner designs for LA Commons, a community arts organizations in Los Angeles.
With her experience as the development and communications director for artworxla (formerly The HeArt Project) in her hometown of Los Angeles, Julie understands the needs of today’s non-profits and small businesses.
Julie serves on the board of AIGA Arizona, the professional association for design. In the past, she has served on the City of Tucson ParkWise Commission, Arts Foundation for Southern Arizona Grants and Marketing Committees, National Philanthropy Foundation Committee for the Association of Fundraising Professionals Southern Arizona Chapter, and the Miramonte Neighborhood Association. In 2009, Julie was a recipient of the Arizona Daily Star’s 40 Under 40 award.
