Search engine optimization (SEO)
SEO refers to practices that contribute to increasing the visibility of a website in search engines. JRC uses the following practices:
Discuss with client what target audiences may be searching for when looking for your services as well as other keywords relevant to the site. Test how the current site ranks in these areas and ensure that the new site includes these words.
Optimizing page load speed:
Slow loading sites are less friendly to search engines and visitors. JRC maximizes page load speed by optimizing images (images that are too large are slow to load).
Ensuring relevant content throughout website:
Search engines look for congruity between a site’s keywords and its content.
High keyword density:
This refers to keywords in the site code. Unnecessary code, such as in-line styling, lowers the keyword density. By using CSS (cascading style sheets), code is centralized and does not affect keyword density.
Outbound links to quality sites:
Linking to websites that are relevant to the site content increases search engine ranking.
